Testimonies from Glad Tidings Assembly, Klang, Malaysia (ISOM: March-November 2002)

Mrs Celine M. PINTO, 60 years old, found her prayer life improved. "I yearned to know more and more about Jesus. How could I fit in? The one particular section which caught my attention was Learning How to Pray. Now when I pray I can feel His presence so beautiful and awesome." She thoroughly enjoyed the interaction time with the younger students.

Ms CHIA Hui Kim, a teacher, said the benefit she got from attending the course far outweighed the cost of another part time job. She too has gained a better understanding of leadership.

LEONG Yong Wah Dean, 47 yrs old, a Taekwondo instructor was "inspired and encouraged by teachings on Christ Connection, Supernatural Faith, and Wilderness Mentalities." He was glad to be reminded of who he is in Christ.

Grace M. d/o DORASAMY, a young adult is in full time Christian ministry and she serves in the church's music and children ministries. She was ministered to during Dr. T.L. Osborn 's lecture on Christ Connection. Grace believed God had chosen her to do His will and to fulfil His promise in her life.

Honey TANG, an IT senior consultant, leads a cell group with her husband. She was "personally challenged during the lessons on Power Evangelism and Supernatural Living." To her, the different teachers in the course gave a good mix of teaching styles and course content.

KHOO Beng Khooi was glad this course would be of use in his daily life as a father, a Taekwondo instructor, and assistant cell leader.

LIM Bun Leong, 39 years old, came to know the Lord while serving in prison. The ISOM course has helped him in fulfilling his desire to serve the Lord full time. He hopes to reach out to drug addicts. He enjoyed interacting with the rest of the students from the English and Tamil congregations during this course. Bun Leong highly recommend ISOM to cell leaders, ministerial staff and full-time workers.

LOH Sern Yi, 21 years old, "was thrilled with the variety of speakers" and the wide variety of topics covered by the ISOM course. He benefited much from the group interaction time and has learned from other students older than he.
Sern Yi has sensed a call to full time ministry and believed that the ISOM course has given him a firm foundation.

YEE Mean Fen Margaret, a lecturer, has found the ISOM course refreshing. The Christian principles taught had challenged her to think and apply them to her daily life. The speakers came across with sincerity and conviction and she benefited from their years of personal experience. Margaret, a cell leader and church music director said, "I would recommend anyone to GO FOR IT. Take the ISOM course and be equipped for ministry."

NG Kien Ti, who is 23 years old and holds a degree in Computing - Information Systems, found the course to be a blessing. It ministered to him personally on the issue of forgiveness and reconciliation. Kien Ti realised that "I don't have to be a star, I am a candle in the ministry of helps."

TEW Poh Choo Sally, who is a member of the church board and leads a cell group with her husband, did not find this course to be a waste of time. But she really enjoyed learning the Word of God and thanked God for a chance to interact with members of the Chinese and Tamil congregations during the course.
