A testimony from the field...

We started the VCD training in April this year and the Holy Spirit fell upon me.  He opened my eyes to discern the spirits that had put me in bondage.

In the past, I was unable to discern what was from God.  For example, during one training session, I had a disturbing vision that the local authorities were after us.  I felt a chill run down my spine, but did not mention it to anyone.  I did not understand that this was from the Lord as I was weak in my faith.  I quickly forgot the whole incident.

We normally had the weekly VCD training in my home but the location was changed for the following week.  Upon arriving at the meeting, I learned from the brethren that they too, had felt an unrest in their spirit to continue meeting at my place.

My wife and I lived in the school quarters and as my wife is a foreigner, the check on us was always tight.  True enough, the school authorities came to check on us but they did not find any evidence in my home.  Thank God for speaking to us through the Holy Spirit.  Hallelujah!

This brother lived in a restricted country where the gospel is not openly preached.  The ISOM series has been an invaluable tool for us to train leaders on the mission field where access is difficult.  With the VCDs in hand, the local church can begin to train their leaders in solid biblical principles.
